Is the Constitution of the U.S. no longer valid?

At least two Constitutional provisions have been violated in the last 11 years by the Federal Government: 4th Amendment , War Powers Clause .

It was also breached on numerous occasions by others.

And let's no forget the return of the filibuster - the great tool of the demagogues. No changes to that rule have been proposed by either party.

According to George W. Bush, it's "just a goddamned piece of paper."

Racist?

Maybe I missed something.

Yes, you're missing the thing called "a sense of humor"

It's as "valid" as ever. However it's being routinely ignored.

Was it ever for the people in the first place? I thought the United States is a corporation constituted of the convened congress. It's why a litigant in person cannot use the constitution to defend themselves in court, because they are not a party to the contract/treaty that is the constitution. Consequently, the judiciary and ruling elite can attend to it or ignore it as and when they can get away with it without provoking revolution. Which is what they are doing now.

I wonder what the integrity of this document is even founded on once people within the countries own government start ignoring it. My question; Can we mutiny the government on charges of treason?

My answer would be: not only did the President fail constitutionally, but also Congress failed to uphold the Constitution and the Supreme Court has sided with the corporations [appointing George W. Bush as president]. All 3 branches are corrupt.

Emergency declarations have put us under dictatorship lite. Constitutional functions, such as Supreme Court decisions are operative until they are inconvenient, and then "we are at war" blah blah blah.

Silly...

Section 34 of the Forty-First Congress of the United States, Session III, Chapter 61 and 62, enacted February 21, 1871, states that the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is a corporation , whose jurisdiction is applicable only in the ten-mile-square parcel of land known as the District of Columbia and to whatever properties are legally titled to the UNITED STATES , by its registration in the corporate County, State, and Federal governments that are under military power of the UNITED STATES and its creditors . Under this provision, the military Congress of the UNITED STATES has the power to pass private international law for application within the federal District of Columbia.

We don't even have a right to a fair trial anymore. If you can't afford a lawyer the state doesn't have to provide you with one!

The US Supreme Court ruled Monday that states did not have an automatic duty to provide counsel in civil courts in the case of a divorced father who was jailed for failing to pay child support.

By a majority 5-4 vote, the justices found that while the South Carolina father’s rights had been violated because he was not given free counsel, US states did not have to provide such advice in all civil contempt cases.

Can you believe that doublespeak?

I have two words for our current government.

No confidence.

The only president that really followed the constitution is George Washington (and maybe a couple of others). Ever since than, presidents and congress have broken many laws.

From the wiki page.

A new U.S. federal government began operating in 1789, following the ratification of the United States Constitution. The previous government under the Articles of Confederation had been unable to levy taxes; it had borrowed money to meet expenses, accumulating $54 million in debt. The states had amassed an additional $25 million in debt. Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury, sought to use this debt to create a financial system that would promote American prosperity and national unity.
