Those statistics are always tricky because they largely rely on self reporting. I have no doubt the entertainment industry probably systematically enables sexual assault and rape the way the military does, but you'd have to have someone who's actually collected the data and analyzed it and submitted it through a peer reviewed process or whatnot before we can assert it with any confidence.

I don't care insofar as it's irrelevant to any political discussion, and it's stupid for Trump supporters to bring it up as some kind of defense because of that.
