NPR kind of pissed me off calling it a "clash" like everyone else when they first reported it. One side shooting the other side through a fence isn't a clash it is a massacre.

It is a terrible thing, and the NPR coverage was lukewarm at best. As it's been regarding these massacres for decades.

Its definitely a massacre but the use of the word "clash" is accurate. You can have a massive imblannce of forced and still have a clash. A clash is simply a violent confrontation.

That's not true. Native publications have had stories about the Redskins name multiple times and for years.

I also do not care about the football team. The term 'redskins' is a reference to the practice of scalping Native Americans. So, yes, of course Native people have been quite outspoken about this football team's name for themselves. There have been articles written about Native people's protest of the name dating back even as far as the 1980's. It has been socially unacceptable for a non African American to call an African American a "N....." forsome time now. The use of the term Redskins is equally unacceptable.
