The shills are here in droves.

Why the sudden surge in shilling? Did CTR/SB Soros just send out more paychecks or what? Hi, r/politics, please go back to your shitty home.
Yes I know there are shills on the other side too, but lately there's been a flood of shills from r/politics (r/leftwingsubpretendingtobeunbiased)

right and it was tooooootally organic that three top stories on the front page yesterday were all about CNN telling Haag to "stick to the script"
or when half the front page was about "releasethememo", that was super organic too.
not like those turned out to be a hoax and a nothing burger, respectively

I didn't find it that odd that the release the memo stuff shot up. It was allegations of FISA abuse. I doubt you find many fans of that in conspiracy. I know they printed a bunch of articles saying Russian bots we're behind it trending on Twitter but there doesn't actually seem to be much evidence of that.

The memo is in accord with the publicly available information. Your opinion is not.
12 JoeyBulgaria 2018-02-24
I’m not talking about the contents of the memo. I’m talking about the astroturfing of this sub during the initial “releasethememo” frenzy
-5 NapalmForNarratives 2018-02-24
The "releasethememo" frenzy hasn't even begun.
6 More_Kissing 2018-02-24
Oh god, do we have to suffer through that obvious push again around here?

No, not here. Reddit is toast.
1 More_Kissing 2018-02-24
Okay, phew.
1 GrinninGremlin 2018-02-24
Reddit could change the site code and kill all the bots in a matter of one day.
0 JoeyBulgaria 2018-02-24
hey, guess you were right!

Still 100x more organic than the shit they pump out over at /politics.
16 Janoz 2018-02-24
Proably at least 50% of users here are bots or shills. 25% of real users dont even bother posting or giving their opinion because they will get trolled or insulted to death and then maybe even harassed.
3 tazcatlipoca 2018-02-24
^ this, Is used to be more open for discourse in my opinion
1 jdubb198 2018-02-24
As a long time conspiracy user i can tell you there is no hope for this sub. We have massive astroturfing in votes and comments and all of it is an extension of the MSM script.
1 GrinninGremlin 2018-02-24
I think that posts talking about the shills every day is a greater indication of bot activity.

"Everyone how doesn't like Trump is a paid shill"
9 Tonisha420 2018-02-24
It’s getting real old...
3 whiterabbitobj46 2018-02-24
Not as old as “Everyone who disagrees with me is a Russian bot”
3 Tonisha420 2018-02-24
It’s all getting old. There are over 500K subscribers here in a forum where we are supposed to be “free thinking and open minded” and the minute some people get down voted or have to defend their position they whine and cry about it. Get a grip and back your point up with evidence or facts.
0 i_LOSNAR_i 2018-02-24
It must suck to have your real issues with trump clouded by the shilling and fake news.
Theres plenty to criticize about trump but the shilling only hurts your cause. Sound like salty idiots ready to rabble at the smallest nothing burger.
11 Tonisha420 2018-02-24
Exactly - there's things we should be actually discussion like Cabinet Member Corruption and Kushner's web of fuckery, but it's hard to when there's so much noise here when there's anything going against Trump. I think it's turned off a lot of people from even bothering with this sub anymore.
8 More_Kissing 2018-02-24
Is it legally mandated that someone make a post like this once a day around here, or something? Yeesh.
-1 boombopbam 2018-02-24
Well isn't it ALSO a conspiracy that there's suddenly an influx of users coming in here downvoting conspiracy theories and upvoting posts that support MSM narratives? It's worthy of discussion.
3 standard_armadillo 2018-02-24
"Sudden."
Look back to when lame duck Ellen Pao was installed as reddit CEO without notice, and Aaron Schwartz was goned.
3 xcasandraXspenderx 2018-02-24
Yeah lol this sub used to be all sorts of people. Then it got taken over by t_d losers who wanna pretend everything that a losing presidential candidate did is why our country is in disrepair. It’s gotten racist and bigoted and doesn’t even make sense anymore. I miss the old sub. If you are mentioning shills I have an idea of the kind of person you are and you’re kinda gross.
2 odd-meter 2018-02-24
Shills have no home. They are cancer.
2 Quexana 2018-02-24
Can you go three comments without whining about someone shilling/being a shill?
Have a Snickers. You get obsessive when you're hungry.
1 i_LOSNAR_i 2018-02-24
I'm used to the_donald shills being here in their usual numbers but lefty shills have muliplied x10 or so the past month or two.
1 Lo0seR 2018-02-24
Soon the lines of reality will be so blurred, there will be no way for you to distinguish between what is real, and reported as real .
1 redditeditard 2018-02-24
Um, because the MSM is covering hoax/false flags/ conspiracy theorists and they're coming to see what the fuss is about?
1 Rainingoblivion 2018-02-24
Everyone’s a shill. Nothing ever happens.
0 pinkbunnybitch 2018-02-24
Because "conspiracy theories" are pretty mainstream right now; that's when they have to deflect "normies" away from discovering any more glimpses of awareness.
I kind of hate forum talks, and feel like they get nowhere anyways. I've been wondering where else I should go, but then I realize that's a ridiculous thought: nowhere is actually "safe"; ie: we're pretty powerless at this level. Sometimes it seems to me that the only way to get further with any type of cause is to move beyond technology and start gathering in person. Then I start to think that sounds awfully revolutionary of me (will we ultimately have to build a people's army? A lot of people are apathetic and lazy, we like talking about stuff on the internet but not really moving. "They've" made us like this, in a sense (getting us addicted to sugar, fast food posion, drugs, prescriptions, alcohol, cigarettes) but we're also strong enough as a species to rise above. Too bad there doesn't seem to be anyone around great enough to be a true leader, or at least I haven't gotten my secret society membership invitation yet.
