Steven always carried 2 cellphones - Eric Paddock

"Paddock gambled as he lived, his brother said - methodically, always weighing the odds. He was cautious and liked to plan ahead, Eric Paddock said, and didn't like leaving things to chance. He always carried two cellphones, each with a different carrier, in case one network was down."
Edit : Carried 2 cellphones just like every other 64 year old retiree with few/no friends. Things that make ya go hmmmmm

Definitely a worthwhile read. Gives a bit of personal insight into Paddock I hadn’t heard previous.

My mother carries two cell phones and she isn't a drug dealer. So does my pastor.

i know lots of people with two phones. some are drug dealers, but most are just businessmen. him having two phones doesnt change anything in my eyes. its the same thing as saying people with a lot of guns are either crazy, or gun collectors. its not 100% incriminating. alarming? yes but PROVES nothing.

I work for a major cell phone carrier. It's very rare to see anyone with two phones, let alone a 64 year old that knows how to operate even one phone.

I personally carry two phones as well, so do 3 other people I know and we're all between 20 & 30. None of us are drug or gun dealers. I do it for work vs personal, I have to have a smart phone for my business but prefer my old knockaround flip phone so fuck me I've got both. Others do it to avoid contract plans and have things like a trac phone and a boost mobile (due to coverage issues) and things like that. It may seem abnormal to folks but that doesn't point to it being nefarious or suspicious either.

Wasn't he a property manager or something? One for personal one for business?

I have two cellphones but I leave one home and forward all my calls to the one I carry with me most of the time. I guess that makes me a drug dealer, murderer, a spy, etc. Oh, well.

The one for buisness and one for personal is a rational explanation that has to be considered i guess, i just found it odd being that his was 64 and had little in the way of social media so i just assumed either rightly or wrongly that one phone would be more than enough kinda thing... Its not bombshell or anything but just another little piece of the puzzle i guess.
