People compared Obama to hitler too, Hitler was a horrible person (in my opinion) and opponents will try to make others believe their target is horrible. This isn't a conspiracy this is name calling

It's their favorite boogeyman. Putin got the treatment, as did Assad. You'd think it'd be tired and used up by now, but they keep peddling that shit.

I dont think boogeyman is the right term. More like a overused fear. Boogeyman is more like fear from something that is no danger but you believe it is a danger.

I think part of it goes back to last year when his son pretended that he had never heard of Pepe . Ever since then, the alt-right, /pol/, sjw, lefty shit-show has rolled on like a stone downhill.

Imho, it's the go to reaction when a leader goes against what the vocal majority wants

I could type out my whole psychological analysis as to why I think Trump is being compared to Hitler. But to sum it up: white guilt and SJWs.

No, Trump is not that bad. Trump is nothing like Hitler.

Hitler was a socialist. The Alt-Left wants socialism in America. So they are the ones like Hitler.

Have you read The Big Lie by Dinesh D'Souza?

Why do the majority of modern neo-nazis align as conservatives then?

I guess you will have to find a neo-nazi and ask them that question. I don't know the answer.

The answer is: Nazism is an extreme conservative ideology, not a liberal one as you implied.

No, that is wrong. Nazism is a National Socialist Party.

While that was the name, it should not be confused with socialism as we know it. Hitler was an outspoken critic of socialism/communism and, as we all know, held very conservative opinions on race.

Man, that semantic trick is still working nearly one century later.

And North Korea is a democracy 😂

It's just a name, which has nothing to do with socalism, in the same way the Democratic Republic of North Korea isn't democratic. The Nazis were fascists.... avowed enemies of socialists.

Trump and his supporters are far from being fascists. The Alt-Left are the fascists.

So comparing Trump to Hitler is ridiculous.

I don't compare trump with Hitler. At least Hitler had a credible vision and knew how to achieve it, even if he failed thanks to the efforts of my father and others like him. No, Trump is more like Benito Mussolini; a bloviated blustering fantasist who will do and say anything to make his supporters cheer him on. Maybe you should grab a dictionary and find out what a fascist is.

Is there any source on that, or just going with the conservatives are nazis narrative?

Sure! There aren't any good polls, but there are many interviews and events from self-proclaimed Nazi's where they explain their views. Here is a video from a few years back where the Nazi is clearly a conservative.

Also, the recent protests in Charlottesville were outwardly right-wing and Nazi-aligned.

Obviously, most conservatives aren't Nazi's, but few Nazi's are liberals.

Stopped reading there.

How would you go about deciding someone's political ideology besides asking them?

I wouldn't, I'd focus on our obviously corrupt government.

You're the one who asked for a source. Don't deflect to a different issue when I answer your question.

Videos of possible paid protesters aren't a source.

Every protestor is a "possible paid protestor." You won't find a single liberal Nazi protestor though.

You're watching too much CNN.....

It's really not that hard to figure out, and anyone who looks at it without the "hur dur the right is evil" glasses on can see exactly why that is.

Immigration.

Democrats want to let in more non-whites, Republicans typically want to slow down (or stop) immigration.

Trump has eight ex-Goldman Sachs advisors in his cabinet. Why don't you ask them?

Hitler strikes me as more of a Citibank guy.

Sometimes I wonder how people were insulted before Hitler. Did they call assholes Leopold the II? Maybe a Khan?

"LITERALLY LEOPALD THE SECOND" doesn't really roll off the tongue.

That's because he is literally Hitler. He's going to join forces with Russia and ethnically cleanse the U.S. He's the most horrible man that has ever existed unless we stop him now.

^ can't tell if serious these days....

This guy advocates for killing all the colors so no one can dilute the "white" DNA. Everything this man does is advocate violence.

Please check through my comment history to see that all thisnracist loser can do is scream "NO U"

His comments speak for themselves.

People compare every President to Hitler.

Because Russiagate imploded.

How?

More like a right-wing nutjob ran their car into a crowd and Trump fucked up the response so royally that his manufacturing council disbanded and the GOP is treating him like cancer. Or Russiagate imploded. It's definitely one of the two.

GOP is treating him like cancer

GOP BEEN treating him like cancer, cuz they part of the problem. Trump was never true GOP; that was just the vehicle he used to get into office.

Source?

People like to exaggerate, especially about politics

Can't speak for all of what Trump is, but I liked some of his functional ideas about removing redtape that he spoke about in his presser until it devolved into a stupid shitshow criticizing his "form" and not addressing his message. I don't like some of his other moves militarily. I think he's a divisive figure despite his seemingly best intentions, and being a divisive figure (either thru being characterized in that way by strawmen makers, or by actual choice) makes his candidacy susceptible to a large divisive lever that people are trying really hard to exploit. The people need to stand up for each other, and, I'd hope speak loudly about what they want to see, lest the Trump lever be coerced against his or the interests of the public.

I think he's a divisive figure despite his seemingly best intentions

Do you believe he is actually in charge of the US? Or have you worked out that he is a puppet?

wow that's a pretty metaphysical question i'd prefer not to answer as it would fuck up people's feeble paradigm about what power is. i generally operate on the presumption that any hero can be coopted, in any hierarchy.

'Hero'? 'Coopted'? Bro, Trump is an actor and always was.

Seriously, I think it is because they have created a strawman version of him in their minds, rather than looking at the reality and facts of his presidency so far.

They fight the strawman because it is easier than admitting to themselves that most of American didn't want the 'regressive-progressive' version of America anymore.

I agree with your assessment regarding the strawmen. The question is, have Trump supporters fallen for a similar delusion? Are Trump supporters and Trump haters two sides of the same shekel?

two sides of the same shekel

They've been presented darkness and false light, interchangeably. So all sides feel a righteous burning to destroy the other.

This hatred keeps individuals in fear and divisiveness, which compels them to work... work to keep the shekels flowing into the right pockets.

Wasn't it Podesta who suggested it in one of his emails last year?

Nope

Eyep

It's weird that people upvote you for lying to them, but then I get downvoted for calling it out

What's funny is, you can't lie with a question. So people up voted my question. They down voted you because you lied. Imagine that. Podesta did write that in an email. Sorry bro

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. Where's that email?

/r/ConspiracyRight for when it gets too dark in here.

The MSM creates the news. Not Trump or his political views/accompaniments. If you want people to hate someone, you have to relate that person to an evil person. Thus, forming his statements to sympathize the evil groups like white supremacists and Nazis. No one has given him a chance to do his damn job.

No one has given him a chance to do his damn job

He's been too busy playing golf to do his job.

Keep chewing up that MSM. Lol

I am English and see all this from a foreign perspective. All your president seems to do is play golf. Seriously! He sent how many tweets about Obama's golf playing? Remember him saying he'd be too busy to play a single round? He has already spent more time knocking little balls around than any other president did in their entire term. The isn't something you can just dismiss as 'MSM fake news'. It's a fact. Your president hasn't a clue what he's doing. He is now just reacting to the various crises by doing the only thing he knows how to do.... fire people, and play golf.

I think it represents the larger phenomenon of this sudden pushback to progressive cultural change of the last 60 years.

I think every president is compared to hitler.

Because the oligarchy is scared of the faction of the middle class that elected Trump. This faction clearly demonstrated that they are sick of living under the illusion of democracy.

Actually he's more like Benito Mussolini, the Italian fascist dictator who fancied himself as a reincarnation of Julius Ceasar. Trump is a similar character..... Desperately needing constant adoration from a country rapidly getting tired of his stupid decisions and his ties to Nazi Germany. In the end they lynched him.

"LITERALLY LEOPALD THE SECOND" doesn't really roll off the tongue.
