All the Russian hysteria and "terrorist threats" are to keep the public afraid. Then we give Trillions of $$$ to the military industrial complex to keep us safe. That's a classic protection racket.

The Russia narrative is primarily protection one single person and I just don't see it holding up much longer.

Well there certainly are a lot of people protecting and defending Trunp

Who?

Hill-Dawg from the leaks.

I think what's interesting here is that some people think that Dems think that the Russian collusion is the reason Hillary didn't win. But, I don't know a single democrat who thinks that. Hillary would have lost regardless and everyone accepts it. But, Trump also colluded with the Russians, and that's not very American of him.

I would like to know what their meaning of Russian Collusion means. Does Russia mean any Russia or simply a Russian Gov. Official or form the Russian Oligarch.
1 TheMagicMarkerMan 2017-08-06
What? They mean the Russian gov't, who the fuck thinks its just any russian?
1 TheRadChad 2017-08-06
You step outside lately?
1 coolshifts 2017-08-06
We were friends with Russia for a while. But I think the terrorism thing is getting old.

yep they need a new fear tactic now, how about those pesky Aliens
1 forkl 2017-08-06
Liberal aliens!
1 Ewokmauler 2017-08-06
That'll turn our dogs gay!

Or force us to marry our dog, with Thier liberal agender.

It has to be orchestrated. First fear of the mysterious ships heading in. Then whether or not they're hostile. If there aren't any aliens it will be a difficult false flag.

Last time I checked Trump had beefing up military spending as one of his primary campaign promises, and now he's going to follow through on it.
Was that the result of the Russia investigation?
1 Mahat 2017-08-06
More jobs apparently.

I still don't follow what you're trying to say.
1 Mahat 2017-08-06
Cheap votes, artificially inflate stats. Lots of things could be inferred by more military procurement.
1 Citizen90222 2017-08-06
Trump promised to increase military spending prior to any of the investigations.
So how does that work?
1 Mahat 2017-08-06
More jobs.

We are building up our military because of the Russia narrative?
1 UnverifiedAllegation 2017-08-06
right, trump doesnt believe the russia narrative, but he IS building up the military and has ramped up military spending
1 MrMarmot 2017-08-06
The world is a fucking protection racket, and money makes it go 'round. You nailed it.
I just skimmed the comments, and I can't believe this shit. Have shills adopted a new tactic of simply "playing dumb" to forum slide? No one is commenting directly on the weight of the idea you're framing.
1 schlamboozle 2017-08-06
I agree. For both the Russians and Americans its a protection racket. Both sides increase military spending to fight "terrorism/proxy wars" in the Middle East while the media props up the "muh enemy" and nationalism.
1 zooka1 2017-08-06
You hit the nail on the head. And I think people are misinterpreting what you mean by "Russian hysteria" (unless I am). He means the general Cold War, Russia is the Enemy narrative (which u hear from all politicians on both side). Not the Russian hack / trump collusion narrative.
As someone that never supported Trump (but hated Hillary even more) I actually liked the idea that our president was open to being an ally to Russia. Every other politician reinforces this idea that the ultimate global conflict is US vs Russia. Why?
IMO this Russian hysteria isn't only to justify increased military spending but because the powers that be's ultimate goal is to conquer Russia (politically or otherwise) since it seems to be the last global power with any kind of sovereignty from those powers.
Same reason Iran is constantly being painted as an enemy despite them not fucking with us at all. They are SOVEREIGN and the elite that runs our country don't like that.
1 Citizen90222 2017-08-06
OK, let's run with that idea.
If the "Russia hysteria" is meant to increase military spending, then why is the focus of the "Russia hysteria" increasing military spending?
1 Mahat 2017-08-06
More jobs, mate. Quite obviously.
1 zooka1 2017-08-06
Huh, that went over my head
1 Mrexreturns 2017-08-06
Ironically the elites who promoted the Russian scare (Hillary and Obama) are the Russian Agents themselves.
1 Chili1179 2017-08-06
This just in, US Government uses fear to increase federal spending, more at 11.
1 PapaLGH 2017-08-06
Media war echo chamber feeding on fear, glorify military, go to war, take away our rights for our "own safety", never leave war and continue to destabilize, rinse repeat
