Story I have about Antarctica...
462 2017-07-28 by Freeyoursoul5
I was traveling via plane to visit some of my family, and on the plane I just so happen to sit next to a pilot. He was being rerouted to his next destination (fully suited up) in order to fly out. I honestly didn't really know this happened, but we got to talking and talked the whole 4 hours.
Just so happens, the guy flew to Antarctica one time. He went there with a friend that needed an extra pilot so they could drop off some supplies. On the way there, he told me they were given only a sack of money to bribe every customs officer, as the flight there is ridiculously long, so they had to stop in a few places along the way. They would go, "Is this enough?", then the customs would say no, then they'd keep handing out money until they let them through.
He said when they reached Antarctica there was a Russian mobster and his cronies who drank the whole time (which the remainder of his money went to). If the head guy didn't like someone, they wouldn't let them come any further than the landing area. He said he wasn't really allowed to explore, and for the most part, they only spoke about elite coming there and their friends of the Russian mafia.
I tried to ask him more, but he was limited to where they were allowed to travel, but wholeheartedly agrees that something fucky goes on down there.

Legit story about Antarctica and goes to zero in less than 30 seconds. Thank you bots! Manipulated much?

Paranoia is real amongst the posters here lol.
1 BurninEpix 2017-07-28
For good reason. Just because your paranoid doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

It was immediately down-voted for painting Russians in a bad light. Try changing the words mobster to "comrades", fucky to "fun", and mafia to "friends"

You've got 75 upvotes in an hour, stop crying goddamn.

It was the initial submission. Went straight to zero. Happens a lot on this sub.
I'm not here for karma or upvotes. I just wanted to tell my story and knew people here would appreciate it.

1 Freeyoursoul5 2017-07-28
Sorry. I guess that came off ironic.
I obviously do want people to see it. It's just a lot of really interesting new posts get fallen by the waist side and then we're stuck with a lot of spam.
Love this sub, but you usually gotta dig.
1 njbeerguy 2017-07-28
Happens a lot on every sub. On literally every single active sub except places like TD, where people go to new and upvote everything, new submissions are routinely downvoted very, very quickly.
Go ahead and submit something to videos, or gaming, or any other active sub. Don't do it just once. Submit a number of things. More times than not, your submission will be quickly downvoted.

You know what ruins your credibility? When you cry that everything is a conspiracy against you.
You're at over 100 points. Calm down. No one is stifling your speech on reddit.
1 Freeyoursoul5 2017-07-28
Fuck me. I said that when the post was at 0 and no comments were made.
My credibility. I feel bad for the people you have surrounding you in real life, given this is how you gauge their substance.

Yes, the way I interact with people whining on reddit is the same way I interact with the people I choose to spend my time with.
Your first reaction was to publicly complain that bots are out to shut down your posts. You didn't wait, you just complained.
You can attack me personally all you want, it doesn't detract from your own behavior.
1 Freeyoursoul5 2017-07-28
Then you must be a lonely person.

Lol... good on you. You complain, but I'm a lonely loser. Enjoy!

You actively chose to reply to my comment (not directed at you) in which you then complained about my complaining. Solid case for mental retardation.

Perhaps Atlantis is Antartica, that got submerged in water and it froze really quick for some reason. Perhaps there is really a gateway to inner earth. Perhaps Hitler is there.
1 dirtydanisreal 2017-07-28
The inner earth theory always made more sense to me than it being full of lava. Explains Bigfoot being a race who lives there and that's why they can appear and disappear so easily. And Antarctica, how can historians explain that like 15th century map that is satellite accurate and shows it without ice when it wasn't explored until the early 20th century. I like the rumors of pyramids there too. I think disclosure is coming within our lifetime. They've been easing the idea on us with things like men in black. And when the Pope is justifying the concept, shit is about to go down.
1 UnverifiedAllegation 2017-07-28
how is bigfoot getting into the inner earth, and why cant other creatures use the same path? or can they
1 BDar 2017-07-28
People who have had close encounters say they smell like wet dogs. My theory is they acces inner earth through underwater caves.
1 UnverifiedAllegation 2017-07-28
can we find these caves?

Look up nahinat Valley inescapable world Heritage site. Caves. Plus explorers that went up the valley lost their heads. Have never been able to find video or pics of the upper Valley, odd for a world Heritage site...
Also Malta, Peru, Grand Canyon have caves and probably many more.

I don't understand your reasoning. How would an inner earth make more sense? We can see volcanoes. Mines get very hot the deeper you dig. We can measure the properties of the interior of the Earth by measuring earthquake waves and how they propagate. We know the Earth isn't hollow.
1 JimHadar 2017-07-28
How else do you explain the Bigfoot race living there and why they can disappear from a Oregon forest so quickly? Fast travel to the South Pole to disappear inside a hollow Earth to man the lava-pumping machines built under volcanos, obviously.
1 FORKinmyDICK 2017-07-28

1 SoyIsPeople 2017-07-28
Hollow earth doesn't really explain anything about Bigfoot being elusive. If the Earth is hollow, the inside is still hundreds of miles below the surface of the Earth.
1 TokingMessiah 2017-07-28
They don't exist, and they don't disappear quickly, because they never appeared in the first place?
1 jay_howard 2017-07-28
What reason do you have to posit the existence of another hominid race living contemporaneously with us? There's no need to explain something that doesn't exist, or that there is no evidence for.
It's like saying "well, how do you explain the gold shield around the Earth?" First of all, there isn't a gold shield around Earth. No need to explain it.

I've always enjoyed the honeycomb crust theory.
The whole earth isn't hollow, the crust is like an Aero bar though, filled with gaps and caverns, into which the Antediluvian civilization fled to escape the cataclysm. After this long they would have spread out, connected many caverns, maybe created a network that spans the entire crust by now...

Hitler is just one in a long line of immortal globalist reptilians, why would he be dead? Everyone knows his kind just hangs out in Antarctica after they fake their deaths.

1 Skymmer 2017-07-28
Yes, actually. I, personally, have not seen Hitler nor any of his reptilian brethren after their so-called "deaths". I also have never been to Antarctica. It doesn't really take much to line the dots up.
1 blahbear221 2017-07-28
Can you please line the dots up for me? being genuine, im interested to know why you believe this.
1 Skymmer 2017-07-28
Alright. I haven't seen Hitler since he faked his death. I also haven't been to Antarctica. Therefore, everything I've written in this thread's been a joke and it should be real obvious without the /s.
1 DADDYDICKFOUNTAIN 2017-07-28
the real conspiracy canon is (which also is why conspiracist occasionally go full blown 14/88) is that (clarifying one quick time this isnt my personal belief is what ive gathered as the most accepted hitler/draco theory) ill make jt brief
jews are draco worshippers reptile in bible is draco( draco =reptile species from another dimension) dracos claim to be creator Jesus is theorized as pleadien (light race, lost cousins of humans, believe universe is a mix of Christian beliefs/eastern vibration reincarnation meditation etc thrown in)
cut to actual history
The jews killed 20 million Christians in the Bolshevik revolution, created communism, and for first time in modern history pushed atheism as a mainstream belief.
jewish created communism was creeping into europe and surrounding Germany on all sides
Hitler comes to power in a last stand of the West, researches antarctica and other dimension
back to conspiracy
hitler found alien tech, allied with pleadians (where the pure aryan agenda came to play)
also pleadians supported his fight learning about the draco illuminatti.
the conspiracy is the actual good guy lost, jews were to be sent to Madagascar and died from disease and starvation, holocaust was a lie by the comminist jews to cover up their own Christian holocaust
1 recoveringcanuck 2017-07-28
So this is a fun thread to pull on, since even david icke was accused of anti-Semitism for his views on reptilians. Have you thought about the idea that the jewish ethnicity through maternal lines thing is because aliens (jehova of the old testament) modified mitochondrial DNA to allow later alien hybridization?
1 DADDYDICKFOUNTAIN 2017-07-28
from what ive read they consider what would be the 'creator' aliens. the dracos supposedly arent capable of this and claimed about being the creators (the bibles false gods, serpent, etc) bc theyre extra-dimensional and are capable of much more than humans. So humans got new DNA (in the the latter conspiracy, the jews) and left to grow. Serpent sneaks in, poses as the creator, and hijacks judaism until Jesus comes
1 recoveringcanuck 2017-07-28
Is the serpent here equivalent to moloch/baal? Does it tie into khazarian false judaism thing?
1 DADDYDICKFOUNTAIN 2017-07-28
yes actually exactly

1 Exordium_8 2017-07-28
They only die due to disease or accidents (or murder). They're biologically immortal, there are several species of earth creatures that are as well. Just biologically immortal =/= immortal.

Name one.

1 RPmatrix 2017-07-28
I could ask you the same question!
1 Exordium_8 2017-07-28
I mean what I'm saying is pretty clear. Something that is biologically immortal can die from disease or accidents, something that is immortal cannot die period.
I guess I don't get what part is tripping you up.
1 RPmatrix 2017-07-28
the way you use words tripped me up
1 Exordium_8 2017-07-28
So what part is confusing then? I assume english isn't your first language?
1 RPmatrix 2017-07-28
"just biological immortal =/=immortal"
that bit
1 Exordium_8 2017-07-28
Let me quote the post you obviously didnt read.
"Something that is biologically immortal can die from disease or accidents, something that is immortal cannot die or be killed period."
1 RPmatrix 2017-07-28
But, the only things that can 'die' are biological and 'alive' ,, you can't kill a 'non-biological item' e.g. a rock or a piece of metal, or a book or an Idea!
Or do you consider a robot/machine i.e. spaceship with AI as 'alive' and possibly indestructable ergo 'immortal'?
If so, you are using the wrong word, as 'immortal' is not correct terminology for such things
1 Exordium_8 2017-07-28
Demons exist, are alive but cannot die or be killed (permanantly), what would you call them other than immortal?
That's the key distinction, biological immortality just means able to die, immortal means like a demon, it cannot die ever period. It will always exist in some form. You can kill lizardmen, which makes them biologically immortal, not true immortals.
1 RPmatrix 2017-07-28
ghosts aren't 'biological'
1 Exordium_8 2017-07-28
Who said anything about ghosts?
1 RPmatrix 2017-07-28
what's a "demon" then?
1 Exordium_8 2017-07-28

1 RPmatrix 2017-07-28
p.s.
immortal (adj.) Look up immortal at Dictionary.com
late 14c., "deathless," from Latin immortalis "deathless, undying" (of gods), "imperishable, endless" (of fame, love, work, etc.),
from assimilated form of in- "not, opposite of" (see in- (1)) + mortalis "mortal" (from PIE root *mer- "to rub away, harm," also "to die" and forming words referring to death and to beings subject to death).
In reference to fame, literature, etc., "unceasing, destined to endure forever, never to be forgotten, lasting a long time," attested from early 15c. (also in classical Latin). As a noun, "an immortal being," from 1680s.

Baseless though haha.

I heard that Queen Mother's coffin isn't empty and is around 14 feet long.
Reptilians apparently go back to their true forms upon death.

But they're cold blooded. Wouldn't they be better off in a warmer climate like the middle of australia or the sahara desert? Possibly in the amazon? This could be why Lizardly Clinton and other liberals dont want amazon deforestation because it would uncover Hitler's hiding place.
1 Skymmer 2017-07-28
See, I thought this at first as well, but after a bit of deductive reasoning I came to a rather chilling hypothesis (no pun intended). To understand my hypothesis, however, we have to look at a scheme the reptilians concocted long ago: the Greenland/Iceland Plan.
You see, before the safe haven known as Antarctica was developed, the reptilians needed a new place to stay. They needed an area that would be warm enough for them to live in (with some assistance), but also isolated enough that humans wouldn't be around to bother them. The closest place they could find that fit these criteria was one called Greenland, a small island located near a bigger island called Iceland.
After reading that above paragraph, you may be thinking to yourself: "Wait, isn't Iceland the smaller island located near Greenland?" And after searching it up, you would think: "Yeah, it is. This kid's fucking retarded." But if you did think that, you would be greatly underestimating the true reach of the reptilians and how much they can influence the world.
Upon discovery of Greenland, the reptilians began hatching a plan to keep humans off the island. After months of scheming, they came up with a solution: switch the names of Iceland and Greenland around in an attempt to trick the humans, thereby stopping them from discovering the reptilian's new paradise. They reasoned that humans traveling to Iceland would, upon hearing of the island of Greenland so close by, opt to travel there instead.
The reptilians executed the plan, and for the most part, it worked flawlessly. The majority of humans stayed away from Iceland and the few who did were disposed of. Although their plan worked for a time, eventually the humans discovered the island wasn't what the name implied it would be. By the time they found out, however, the reptilians had already finished developing Antarctica and had left, leaving no traces of their existence behind.
This now brings me back to my hypothesis. If the reptilians have successfully pulled the name-switching scheme before, had they done it again with Antarctica? If so, what other area could they have possibly switched it's name with? It's obvious something's up, but as of right now I'm not sure how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I thought you were crazy until the second to last paragraph when something hit a chord. I did some research and found this chilling fact: There are NO reptiles on "Greenland".
This is irrefutable proof that the coverup did occur and everything else you wrote is CONFIRMED as a result of the evidence. Where there's smoke there's fire and where there's no smoke there's ice. And what's the biggest ice on earth? The so-called ANTARCTICA.

1 GoTomArrow 2017-07-28
Immortal? How is that possible?
1 Skymmer 2017-07-28
In the "Genesis" chapter of the Bible it lists the names and ages of some of the oldest people to ever exist. Adam, for example, lived to be 930 years old, an age that most humans today assume to be impossible to live to. What most people don't realize, however, is that the reptilians of today have special powers that allow them to drain the humans of their lifeforce. This power allows the reptilians to remain essentially immortal while making regular humans die much earlier than their biblical counterparts, whose reptilians had not developed said powers yet.
Over time, the growing human population has allowed the reptilians to take less lifeforce from individuals while still allowing them to maintain their sought-after immortality. This is why the average life expectancy of humans has been steadily rising in the recent years. Maybe one day we'll see a human breach the 200- or even 300-year barrier.
1 GoTomArrow 2017-07-28
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that those ages in the bible are not actual years, but months. 930 months are around 77 years.
Not saying you're wrong in general, but this particular detail might just be a trick of language. (or that may be another cover-up, who knows lol, but then again the bible in itself is probably full of shit)
1 JigabooFriday 2017-07-28
Seeing people at 80+, a 300 year old person would literally be a prune.
1 coolio-o-doolio 2017-07-28
I don't think reptillians would make a habit of being humans, it would seem like us dressing up like cows and leading the way to the slaughterhouse, they're too dignified for that, more likely to have the leading cows under their control, less messy, more safe, easily disposable after use. However I do think Hitler lived a long life in South America and finally Antarctica
1 plantlivecake 2017-07-28
Hitler was the one trying to stop the reptilians!
1 Atlas__Rising 2017-07-28

1 GSEAGLE 2017-07-28

1 jay_howard 2017-07-28
I'm all for some speculation when we are left with conundrums, but the best speculation about Atlantis (or another forgotten civilization to which it has been mistakenly attributed), is that it's currently under water. We know without too much controversy that about 12,000 years before now, the sea level was about 100 feet lower than it is today because of the last glacial maximum.
We also know without much controversy that human civilizations will definitely exist at sea level. The combination of these non-controversial facts puts any substantial prospect of finding remnant civilizations at about 100 feet below sea level.
1 Korlis 2017-07-28
So Atlantis could have been on Antarctica?
The Piri Reis map shows the coast of the continent, so it was exposed at one point, it is now under water.
1 jay_howard 2017-07-28
I think the idea of "Atlantis" is a proxy for any number of unknown ancient civilizations. Humans just like us, that is, homo sapiens sapiens, have been around for at least 200,000 years. Every couple of years it seems that number gets pushed further and further back. It goes to reason that human have made clever solutions to the problems of this swirling gravity well more than once in that time, and that our own history is not 4000 years old, but perhaps much older.
It's not a stretch of imagination that groups of enterprising humans got together in the past and built cities. Some probably existed in complete obscurity to this day--especially if they were not stone builders. The question remains open.
What civilization created the map by which the Piri Reis map made? A great question. So, to your point, could Atlantis be Antarctica, let me rephrase: could Antarctica be home to evidence of an ancient civilization? Perhaps. I'm curious.
1 Korlis 2017-07-28
I like the concept of it being a pacific rim style alliance of nations that got drown. This ring of civilization could have included a non-landlocked Antarctica.
1 jay_howard 2017-07-28
The more we look, the more we see evidence of ancient civilizations--some not unknown necessarily-- like Thonis-Heracleion . There are more. Some have likely disintegrated. Some have left remnants for the bold and curious.
1 Korlis 2017-07-28
There is pretty compelling evidence around the world of cities, now submerged, all at approximately the same elevation, like the sunken structure off the coast of Yonaguni Japan. One interesting topic I've recently been exposed to is the lost continent of Mu. The islands of Indonesia are supposedly the tops of the mountain ranges of Mu.

Any time tables as to how recent this story took place or what part of Antarctica it was in?
1 Freeyoursoul5 2017-07-28
February I spoke to him. He said it was a few years back. He was a younger pilot, late 30s.
We talked about everything from chemtrails to GMOs.
1 haveyouseenmymarble 2017-07-28
Any interesting views about chemtrails?
1 Freeyoursoul5 2017-07-28
He said they only fly with radar and they don't really "see" anything. That if there are chemtrails he's never driven a plane with them in it, but he wasn't averse to thinking they exist.
Random funny tips though. He said all planes are filthy and never get fully cleaned. That your devices do not interact with the planes electronics. They only say that so you'll have more attention for take off and landing. That the pilots and stuardesses aren't allowed to sleep in the same hotels anymore, as pre-marital relations was becoming more prevalent.
1 silkenindiana 2017-07-28
No shit our devices don't interfere with any devices. How does that make any sense? Never did. I always use hen anyway and nothing happens.
1 Belmont_Trevor 2017-07-28
same with at hospitals, they used to say turn off your cellphone, it might interfere with defibrillators and shit lol
1 recoveringcanuck 2017-07-28
they just took a cue from the airlines that people would believe it. Nurses don't like the people talking on the phone.
1 Burnt_Hill 2017-07-28
Hospitals have multiple wireless systems. While its unlikely there would be interference, the research is incomplete and it is better to be safe than sorry. Also good nurses don't care, just don't be a distraction.
1 haveyouseenmymarble 2017-07-28
Haha, that last fact is as sad as it is glorious. I've stumbled across a TV segment some day that showed the life of a pilot, and he too said that every pilot fucks their flight attendants, virtually without exception (except for the pilot they interviewed of course, he was a married man after all ;-))
I suspect that Barium, Strontium, and Aluminium (among other materials) are being added to the Jet fuel itself on specific days, in specific large airports. It would only really require a relatively small organization to oversee such a program (even on a global scale), and those involved could largely be oblivious to it too. Those who have to know are selected based on their readiness to do anything to "save the planet" and told it's all to stop global warming. I believe shill-farms work exactly the same, only that even fewer people would realize what they are really doing when all they do is they with jet fuel, rather than people who get paid to drive other people nuts and manufacture a consent.
The only thing a pilot might notice would be a slight variance in fuel efficiency (either up or down), and if they're old enough they may silently wonder if contrails really were equally thick and persistent in the 80's or 90's as they are now.
I say I suspect these things because to say I believe these things would be reasoning from a conclusion. With the starting premise of chemtrails being real and everywhere, I considered how such a feat might potentially be possible.
Adding the stuff to the fuel seems to be the most logical option. We used to add lead to gasoline to increase burn efficiency until we noticed the ill effects it had on the people and the environment. I think at least this time it's added on purpose. Not necessarily to harm people directly, but for reasons of further control, this time of the weather and thereby all of nature.
For those who make those decisions, though, a few hundred thousand additional avoidable deaths a year, as well as sickness and further collective retardation are a worthy cost in exchange for more control and power.
Sorry, that turned into a rant. I'm not fully convinced that chemtrails are real, but I can see how it might all fit a bigger picture.
1 Mageant 2017-07-28
That is also how I imagine chemtrails being done. People also suspect that fly ash from coal plants is being added to the jet fuel.
There is also the Central European Pipeline system which also used to deliver fuel to civilian airports which could easily be hijacked for this purpose.
http://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/topics_49151.htm
1 AbbletonLive 2017-07-28
Fly ash, so how would that not get congealed around the fuel injectors and blow the engines up?
1 bitcoin_noob 2017-07-28
You clearly have no idea of the rigorous testing regime for aircraft fuel. If theres anything weird in the fuel, multiple people are going to find it at multiple points along the way.
1 bananapeel 2017-07-28
If Barium, Strontium, and Aluminum are being added and are part of contrails today, has there been a measurable increase in these chemicals in the environment? Aluminum doesn't stay in its non-oxidized state for long. It turns into Aluminum Oxide, which is prevalent in the crust.
1 haveyouseenmymarble 2017-07-28
I've come across a few studies about it, but I wouldn't be able to find them anymore. I'm at best an armchair scientist, so I usually just read the abstract.
But there are credible voices out there shouting about just that, yes.
1 bananapeel 2017-07-28
If one was doing a peer reviewed scientific study, we'd have to account for the industrial and personal uses of these materials. I know fireworks contain a pretty fair amount of them. Would it be measurable? Don't know.
1 haveyouseenmymarble 2017-07-28
Sure, factor it in, but I seriously doubt that all the fireworks in the world would leave anywhere near the amount of residue in the air, soil, snow, and critically in ocean waters that we're seeing.
My view is that in this rare case, Occam's Razor actually points towards conspiracy, as it is the simplest, most logical explanation of where these materials come from.
1 Belmont_Trevor 2017-07-28
some say they detected those elements but we need an official peer reviewed study
1 bananapeel 2017-07-28
Agreed.
1 TheWiredWorld 2017-07-28

1 plantlivecake 2017-07-28
Not just prevalent in the crust.
It makes up a significant portion of all the dirt around you, especially clay, which is mostly aluminum.
1 GoTomArrow 2017-07-28
Wouldn't that possibly hurt the motor? Why so complicated?
1 haveyouseenmymarble 2017-07-28
Nothing about this is complicated. You'd just have to insert a couple of tank-fulls of a nano-metal mixture into the stream of jet-fuel along a pipeline or distribution center every couple of days. It would be no more difficult than water fluoridation or any other such process and it would be tremendously easy to keep it a secret as so few people need to be involved.
Granted, I'm not an expert in internal combustion or jet engines, but two data points tell me it's likely not a problem for the plane to handle additional nano-metals in its fuel. In the above-linked witness testimony, one engineer highlights that there were proposals for just such additives to jet fuel to increase fuel efficiency, but it was shot down due to potential health risks. We did the same thing with lead in gasoline back in the day, until people noticed the ill effects it had on people.
But it's a fair point. If I ever meet an aerospace engineer I'll ask them.
1 GoTomArrow 2017-07-28
Hm. Fair enough.
Another question I'd have would be if those Nanoparticles survive the engines.
1 haveyouseenmymarble 2017-07-28
Well in my hypothesis they do because they're there :-D, but I admit, that's not very scientific.
1 XavierSimmons 2017-07-28
They don't want laptops flying around the cabin when they have to abort a take-off, or have a rough landing.
Plus, devices and their associated bags can impede a rapid exit.
Almost all crashes occur during take-off or approach. It's pretty rare for a plane's front to fall off mid-flight, although it does happen.

Following this, the passengers and flight crew decided to act.[1] According to accounts of cell phone conversations , Beamer, along with Mark Bingham, Tom Burnett, and Jeremy Glick formed a plan to take the plane back from the hijackers.[9] They were joined by other passengers, including Lou Nacke, Rich Guadagno, Alan Beaven, Honor Elizabeth Wainio, Linda Gronlund, and William Cashman, along with flight attendants Sandra Bradshaw and Cee Cee Ross-Lyles, in discussing their options and voting on a course of action, ultimately deciding to storm the cockpit and take over the plane.

Uhh...why not? You realize that pretty much anyone can visit Antarctica, right? There are cruise ships that regularly travel there, and promise that you will experience the "midnight sun". There are tourist flights that overfly the Pole pretty much every day (including one that famously crashed into Mt. Erebus in 1979]( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_New_Zealand_Flight_901) ).
Whenever I bring this up, the flatties always counter with "The Antarctic Treaty Forbids Travel to the Antarctica except for a select few, hand-picked operatives", to which I counter "you have obviously never read the Treaty, and have no idea what it says."
So I'll summarize the key points here:
No nation shall lay claim to any part of Antarctica as sovereign land
No nation shall establish a military presence anywhere on the continent
Weapons of any kind are forbidden
No nation shall establish commercial enterprises on the continent for the purpose of mining natural resources
Any signatory reserves the right to inspect inbound traffic if they suspect that any of the above restrictions have been violated
That's pretty much it. If you want to charter a boat and visit Antarctica, go right ahead. So long as you aren't carrying weapons or mining equipment, your'e good, and no-one is going to stop you.
1 GlowingBall 2017-07-28
So you are telling me I can't bring my trebuchet to Antarctica? That place is dead to me!
1 AngelOfLight 2017-07-28
Sadly, no. Oddly enough, the treaty also bans any open flame (I guess that prospect of all that ice bursting into flame is somewhat horrifying). This presented a number of problems to the researchers who first tried to set up a Foucault Pendumum at the exact geographic South Pole. Most pendulums use a match or lighter to burn through a restraining cord to start the pendulum swinging. This prevents unwanted oscillations from any sort of cutting tool, like a pair of scissors, which can set the pendulum swinging from side to side as well as sweeping across its arc. Obviously, this introductions distortions into pendulum's movement.
As the researchers explained:
It was difficult to make the pendulum swing in a plane instead of an ellipse. After several attempts with various techniques of holding the bob and dropping it we always got some kind of ellipse instead of a plane. This adds to our error because it is more difficult to locate and mark the pendulum arc’s apex. A way to do it is to suspended the bob by tying it off with a piece of string and letting it settle, then burn through the string. The bob would then drop without any outside force and swing in a plane. Since it is against the Antarctica Treaty to have any open flames at the South Pole we could not do this. After much practice Mike Town got very adept at dropping the bob so that it arced in a plane. It was difficult to make the pendulum swing in a plane instead of an ellipse. Fire is banned in Antarctic facilities for the same reason it used to be banned on wooden ships - if the structure around you goes up in flames, you're fucked. Whether in the middle of the ocean or the South Pole, the environment could kill you in minutes and there is little chance of rescue.

1 AngelOfLight 2017-07-28
There is no rule that says you have to travel with a tour guide. No-one is going to stop you if you charter your own boat and start hiking towards the Pole. Of course, if you suddenly find yourself in deep trouble, you're pretty much SOL. Which is why it is generally smarter to travel with a seasoned guide.

1 AngelOfLight 2017-07-28
None of which changes the central point - there are no travel restrictions to Antarctica, no matter how loud the flatties scream to the contrary.
Of course it's expensive. That's because it's dangerous, and if you aren't properly equipped, you're going to find your self very dead very quickly.
Do you have any idea how much you would pay for an ascent of Mt. Everest? It's in the same ballpark - 50-80K. And yet...no-one doubts the existence of Mt. Everest. Just like Antarctica, anyone with sufficient cash can travel there - but if you're not properly equipped, you kind find yourself in a potentially fatal situation quite quickly. And the chances are good that no-one will be able to help you.

You can point out flaws in conspiracy stories, and you can entertain them without accepting them, but calling OP a liar when you yourself have no evidence or argument is pretty lame.
1 DumbledoreSays 2017-07-28
The flaw in this 'conspiracy theory' is that it is presented with literally zero evidence. No different to some dude in a bar telling tales of all of the 10/10 women he has had to knock back due to 'sexual exhaustion'. Yeah, right, buddy.

It's a conversation he had, what evidence could he provide? Not every submission has to be vetted on this sub to be interesting or worth talking about.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
It doesn't matter whether he could provide evidence if the story were true. The fact remains there's zero evidence. If we don't heavily scrutinize these types of posts it would encourage others to make up stories which can't be proven. If this is just a story, it would make sense that it would be told in a way that proof would not be available.

Yes OP is a liar until he/she provides a recording of this conversation and dna sample of the pilot.
What's there to prove seriously? I don't find it hard to believe he had this conversation. How do you prove stories? I really want to know. What if I tell you that I had a conversation today about video games. So it did not happen because i made no recording?
1 QueequegTheater 2017-07-28
Nothing to prove, but if something is claimed with no evidence then I can dismiss it with no evidence.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
I never said OP was a liar. I said these sorts of posts should be heavily scrutinized because it's so easy to make up. If you said you had a conversation about video games I wouldn't pay it any attention, the same as OPs story. The fact they can't be proven is exactly why it's easy to make up and exactly why it should be heavily scrutinized.
1 borch3jackdaws 2017-07-28
Neither does OP though...
1 Silk383 2017-07-28
So you can't share stories in this sub unless you have evidence or we will assume you are a karma whoring liar? This is a sub to talk about aliens and reptilians and lots of things that don't have evidence. I'm not upvoting this post because it is pretty weak on substance but that doesn't mean I'm going to call him a liar, I do think he had this conversation with the pilot or at least I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he did, and if people want to talk about it that's cool, that's why we're here, to shoot the shit about wacky stuff normal people would laugh you out of the room for bringing up.
1 borch3jackdaws 2017-07-28
I didn't say you cant talk about it. Feel free. Was just pointing out that you brought up evidence when OP's story has none.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
And when normal people and conspiracy theorists laugh you out of the room for bringing it up than there's a pretty good chance there's zero evidence to corroborate it and shouldn't be seriously entertained
1 smackson 2017-07-28
This back and forth is silly.
To /u/DumbledoreSays : OP claimed practically nothing.
It's believable because there's nothing actually unusual about it.
"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence", so by the same token, mundane claims require little evidence...
Basically, evidence doesn't need to come into this thread.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
Maybe OPs claims weren't extraordinary as he only claimed to have a conversation, but the pilots claims are extraordinary. 1: He claims he flew to Antarctica. Not necessarily extraordinary but certainly rare 2: He claims he was given a sack of money to bribe officers. Where did this money come from? 3: He claimed he had just enough money for the remaining bribe. They must've had this planned extraordinarily ;). 4: He claims the Russian mafia was in charge of everything at their place of landing and the surrounding areas as evidenced by them not being able to explore. Where's the Russian government, where's the US government?
1 nightlily 2017-07-28
There are tons of stories about the extreme levels of corruption in Russian government, and it's well known that they also have a vested interest in the Antarctic. Russia, Canada, US, and China all have claims to areas that are expected to become more accessible due to climate change but Russia is the most aggressive right now and just built a new military base.
None of what the OP said about the pilot needing bribes or dealing with Russians in the Arctic should be surprising.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
Now you are moving the goalpost. Before it was extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Now its surprising claims require extraordinary evidence. If you told me a cop killed your dog I wouldn't be surprised, but I would ask for evidence before condemning the cop. How is it well known that Russia has a vested interest in Antarctica, or do you mean it's a well known conspiracy theory. And when you use 'Russia' in that sense do you mean the Russian government or the Russian mafia. And even if you claim they are one and the same, wouldn't they at least want to keep up appearances that they aren't. None of it may be surprising but it certainly should have some evidence before taken seriously
1 nightlily 2017-07-28
I didn't have any goalpost so I can't be moving anything. Who taught you debate rhetoric? Because they failed, badly. How is it well known? It's not a conspiracy theory it's very well documented. I suggest doing some research before trying to argue, you're embarrassing yourself.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
Okay well I assumed you were /u/smackson as you continued the line of argument he started that I was arguing against. Anyways, yea you did move the goalpost. I was claiming there wasn't extraordinary evidence and you countered by saying the claims shouldn't be surprising, as though that were relevant. Do you wanna argue the actual arguments or just continue to hurl insults?
1 nightlily 2017-07-28
There's little evidence of the story, of course there isn't because it's a personal anecdote. People on the internet can always make stuff up and others can always say r/thathappened if it sounds unrealistic. I was just trying to be helpful by giving some context that shows why it might not be as far-fetched as you might expect. Take that as you will. It's easy to verify that there are Russian scientists and military and navy doing work in the Arctic. This story could have happened. We will never know for sure because it's not something that is verifiable. I'm not sure what more there is to say about it.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
Okay well I still don't see how what you said lends credence to the story not being as far-fetched as I might think. The story wasn't about Russian scientists and military. But regardless of that, I never once claimed the story was far-fetched or anything of the like. The point I was trying to make was that OP's story should be taken with a heavy grain of salt
1 nightlily 2017-07-28
That's fine. If you can't see it you can't see it. nbd. Either way you're not wrong about the salt. I wouldn't assume it's real. I just also wouldn't assume it isn't.
1 Madrenoche 2017-07-28
Can someone who is getting paid to post here please give me a recommendation as to how you fell into this job cause i have an imagination that is endless. Come on.....someone...anyone
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
Lol look at my post history before accusing me of being a shill
1 Madrenoche 2017-07-28
I never accused of of being a shill whatsoever.
1 Madrenoche 2017-07-28
I was just making a comment in general and you happened to be the last comment on the thread when I posted.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
You replied directly to my comment so....
1 Madrenoche 2017-07-28
my bad. I like your comment history btw.
1 smackson 2017-07-28
Here are some extraordinary claims about Antarctica:
There's a pyramid (that must have been built thousands of years ago by God knows who, possibly aliens).
there's a hole that leads to the inside of the hollow earth
Hitler ended up there and there is a base with the remnants of the Third Reich
Less extraordinary, but still noteworthy:
The US government is doing something secret with OUR tax dollars, beyond known scientific research projects or standard defense spending.
OP didn't even claim the last one. Something going on with non-government Russians --and money. Could be as simple as drugs.
NOT EXTRAORDINARY.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
So coming up with random more extraordinary claims suddenly invalidates the extraordinaryness of OPs claims?
1 smackson 2017-07-28
What extraordinariness ?
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
I literally laid it all out for you two messages up, in fact you replied to the message in which I laid it out. I don't care to type that whole thing again
1 HershelBluScienceJew 2017-07-28
Comments like yours are why this sub constantly gets taken in by obvious LARPs.
1 kidxer 2017-07-28
Why be a dick though?
1 Rage_harles 2017-07-28
Ego, man. Ego. 'I'm telling a funny joke, guys, look at and laugh with me.' Ego prevents this world from pursuing fundamental truth. Instead, it aims to serve its self first (as this guy did by being a dick for no reason), and then maybe it'll go after truth.
1 possibri 2017-07-28
if there's time...
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
Calling out lack of evidence on r/conspiracy constitutes being a dick? This thread is making me lose any remaining hope I have for this sub
1 kidxer 2017-07-28
No, he was calling the OP a liar. That's dickish. Especially without evidence of the OP being dishonest.
There was no need for that attack IMHO.
Depends on the type of environment y'all want around here.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
Well it appears the environment around here is believe whatever stories that fits your ideologies regardless of whether there's ANY evidence at all. That's not what I want it to be but I appear to be outnumbered. And while /u/Dumbledore says did imply OP was lying, he certainly didn't call him a liar. And the emphasis was on how easy that story would be to make up. He should have just pointed it out without that final line though.
1 kidxer 2017-07-28
Dude, this is a conspiracy sub.
If there were real and true bona-fide evidence for everything that was posted in this sub, how could anything be a conspiracy? It would just be a history sub.
Just chill and enjoy the ride.
1 squirtlekid 2017-07-28
Lets wait 5 years and see who was right
1 Lizards_live 2017-07-28
Well hollow earth theory states that is where the legendary cities exist. So that and more than likely oil interests, military technology testing etc.
1 ChumleesCumRag 2017-07-28
Hollow earth. Pfft!!!!
Everybody knows the Earth's flat and if you dig too far you'll fall through.
1 Homako1920 2017-07-28
And any true flat earth believed understands the world is flat, just the plane we live on is, the misrepresentation of a basic component of the flat earth theory, is what almost makes me believe it...
1 Aye_or_Nay 2017-07-28
OY! dig till you fall through the center, then you have to keep digging to get out the other surface.
Flat like your feet, man. /s
1 NationalDenbt 2017-07-28
What does hollow Earth theory say about P and S waves?
1 overtaxedoverworked 2017-07-28
Nothing, and when you bring them up, hollow-Earth theorists go silent.
1 yellowsnow2 2017-07-28
That admiral Bird guy said their was uranium ore there.
1 LeakyTrump 2017-07-28
Yeah, something fucky is going on in Antarctica. I definitely agree.
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
Like what? All we have is a Reddit post, no pictures, physical evidence, nothing.
1 outtanutmeds 2017-07-28
I have never trusted Emperor penguins.
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
You mean lizard people in bird suits? That's what they really are. Some guy on the street told me, and I believe him.
1 outtanutmeds 2017-07-28
The Emperor penguins are from the Ten Tribes of Israel. They discarded the Torah and follow traditions of birds.
1 cantsmokeme 2017-07-28
Empoleon was pretty strong though. Never taught him surf so I had to run 2 water types but meh my Empy would shred.
1 drk_etta 2017-07-28
We don't have any evidence of the contrary...
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
You mean we don't have any evidence nothing is going on there? Yes we do, we have pictures of nothing going on there. Christ guys, this is insane.
1 LeakyTrump 2017-07-28
This isn't the only weird post. Are you aware of the other weird things surrounding Antarctica?
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
So if I make a post saying something like this would you immediately use it as evidence too?
1 LeakyTrump 2017-07-28
You're dodging the question my friend.
Are you aware of the other weird things surrounding Antarctica?
I had an opinion about it before I even saw this post. Why are you even on this sub if you bother to do no research and are creating this stupid hypothetical?
If you weren't such an idiot I would lead you to some good research, but I will let you learn how to do research on your own.
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
Such as? Name some, you lizard brained idiot. You have no facts, no evidence, no physical proof, no eye witness, no name, no base, you have nothing. Absolutely nothing. And you will continue to have nothing, because you can't wrap your head around the real world so you have to make up your own fantasies to cope.
1 LeakyTrump 2017-07-28
Thanks for your well reasoned argument. I entirely understand your viewpoint now.
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
I sincerely hope so
1 Madrenoche 2017-07-28
You just answered your own bullshit. Why is it you think we have no pictures, no evidence? Try and think of something other than...its cold there...there's nothing to see.....
If that were really the case why such strict travel regulations there? Why did the pope and many other influential people visit with no real purpose? People dont go to a freezer with virtually zero inhabitants for sight seeing.....No?
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
It's no countries sovereign soil, and you have to have specialized vehicles to approach and leave.
Because they're allowed to enjoy themselves
Uh, yes actually. It's called tourism. That's the main draw of going there, my physics teacher actually got married in Antarctica, he described it as the most beautiful place he's ever seen.
Let's use your logic for, say, Cruise Liners.
People don't go into a bathtub for no reason, no?
The answer is tourism.
Or Australia.
People don't go into an oven for no reason, no?
The answer is tourism.
Also, technically Antarctica has zero permanent inhabitants. It's only weather and research scientists. "Oh sure that's what they tell you, why would a research scientist want to go to Antarctica?" Virtually no light pollution, and the closest area to the outer atmosphere.
1 GlipGlopSuperMop 2017-07-28
There are tons of pictures and stories including admiral byrds Chilean interview, so that simply demolishes your fake fact statement of there being "nothing" and "no evidence". With this cliche parroted moronic argument of "no evidence" I usually find mountains of evidence. Just like with UFO's. There are literally hundreds of pilots who've come out and been suppressed. You might be new here so having cognitive dissonance because of the msm narrative is reasonable as it is traumatic, the depths of trust that have been broken really show the depths of contortions caused by them in the mind. Gotlta love mk ultra, the western male sperm rate down 50%, and the fact they're fucking with our hormones pretty obviously through atrazine, and you see the spike in transgender, Only in western civilisations, Monsanto funding most agricultural departments and defaming/firing anyone who speaks out against Go's etc etc etc. Lol and that's just physically!
1 Dylothor 2017-07-28
"There's something going on in Antarctica, it's just like the UFO's." Yes, excellent way to bring credibility to your argument, so, where's the pictures?

I had a customer (I'm an airport bartender) who said his neighbor is a tour guide for people at the north and south poles. He said that many of her clients are wealthy Chinese and that they take them to a semi remote location first to see if they can handle it. He wasn't even talking to me, I just over heard it and got excited when they mentioned the poles.... I'm sorry this reply doesn't add much.

do need to show proof tho
1 polkadotgirl 2017-07-28
Isn't it weird that people don't understand that anecdotal evidence is still evidence. Doesn't mean you have to believe it.
1 AngelOfLight 2017-07-28
It's only evidence that the person telling the story believes it happened (unless he is deliberately prevaricating and/or confabulating . Anecdotal "evidence" isn't worth the paper it's written on.
1 AngelOfLight 2017-07-28
15 minutes of fame. The unquestioning obedience of thousands of ditto-heads feeding your megalomaniac complex. Disinformation campaign. I could go on, and on. And since you have provided exactly zero evidence that this encounter ever took place, I can call you a liar with impunity.
1 EvilSporkOfDeath 2017-07-28
At they very least you are the type to believe any story you hear blindly, but I'm leaning towards agreeing with /u/magenta_placenta .

1 snorkleboy 2017-07-28
As someone that comes from Russia, that kind of thing isn't uncommon in the distant areas of Russia.
I know Russia has also been making grabs at the birth sea and Antarctic region since there have been prospects of drilling oil. Wouldn't be surprised if they were prospecting.
1 prolix 2017-07-28
Well there is apparently a ban on the exploitation for resources in Antarctica that is supposed to expire or at least change in 2048. Not only are major world leaders trying to position themselves to take advantage of this by positioning themselves to capitalize after it expires, but also satellite monitoring outpost and a ton of research happens there.

Where is the Nazi base Neuscwabenland? Where is the entrance to the "inner earth" ?? LOL this is such BS.

One thing we can agree on is that the most wealthy and poweful criminal enterprises have had their influence reach many people and ruin a lot of lives. Russian mobsters and any other groups are in that position because they are smart enough to remain hidden.

Did everyone know the US had a nuclear reactor on Antarctica?
1 pauljs75 2017-07-28
Thing is, Russians have their own separate Antarctica base. So if anything odd or crazy is going on there, it's not happening at the base run by U.S. and western countries. They're also almost on other sides of the continent.
Still it'd be interesting to hear some stories about it.
1 temporaldimension 2017-07-28
Why would any plane ever stop over in Antarctica?
Have you ever seen a map. It would be way out of the way to go there, no matter where you are traveling. Besides because of the harsh environment planes need to be equipped with special surveillance equipment to fly in such a region, something that is not standard on any commercial airline.
So your story seem Shady.
1 LordBacon69 2017-07-28
Connecting flights aren't subject to customs. You're lying.
1 overtaxedoverworked 2017-07-28
People can just go there themselves and check it out:
https://www.polar-quest.com/trips/antarctica
1 SaxonWitch 2017-07-28
Sure they can but they are very limited in where they can go and what they can look at. It's a guided tour. I mean people can also visit North Korea, doesn't mean it's a nice place or they have nothing to hide.
1 overtaxedoverworked 2017-07-28
Go there, see if you have to "bribe every customs officer" on the way ... easy to determine whether OPs story is valid in any sense.
1 SaxonWitch 2017-07-28
I don't even care about the validity of the story but you can't just go there and wander off to where you want. Probably because of litigation reasons or safety. Is what I'm saying.
1 OB1_kenobi 2017-07-28
Antarctica could serve one purpose. The modern day equivalent of Jekyll Island.
Back during the early 20th century, a bunch of rich fucks got together to make their plans to implement the Federal Reserve. They met at a place called Jekyll Island. Why?
Because they were so rich and powerful, if people saw them meeting for a whole week the rumors/suspicions would have been flying.
If you think about Antarctica:
Limited physical access.
No civilians.
100% of communications are controlled. No cellphones and no landlines. If anyone has internet, it must be just a few computers working on satellite.
No customs or national borders to cross.
So a bunch of important people could go there and have meetings in as close to absolute secrecy as possible.
One other possibility that I'll just throw out there. There is one unique environmental factor that is present nowhere else. Antarctica is where the south magnetic pole is located.
So you have the strongest south magnetic field combined with whatever else has some interesting effects on the human body... or perhaps on human mental function?
In plain English, if you hang around at the South Pole long enough, you start getting smarter. If this was true, a civilization located in Antarctica would be the most advanced one in the world.
It's a bit of a stretch. But if that was true, it would explain Nazis/Neuschwabenland, Operation High Jump, all the secrecy and limited access etc.
1 gravyboatsgravyboat 2017-07-28
There is no evidence, just the story it's self. It might be true, or made up. But it's an interesting story.
1 Atranock 2017-07-28
But, if planes were to go over Antarctica penguins would flee their homes, causing a bunch of penguins and arctic animals dieing in the wild. This theories can be debunked by a quick google search.
1 silkenindiana 2017-07-28
No shit our devices don't interfere with any devices. How does that make any sense? Never did. I always use hen anyway and nothing happens.
1 Freeyoursoul5 2017-07-28
No. Just no.

I figured that rule was so we didn't figure out the 9/11 calls ("Let's roll") were 100% bullshit.

Yeah and they barley if at all go inland on those. But good try I'm talking about the 50k flights that bring you to camps.

Eh, at this point the reality has taken on many of the colors of the picture they've been painting it as, has it not?

which religious leader other than Kirill? I only know of him, religiously. Of course other important people have been going there, including John Kerry around election day, weird.

Planes do not fly with radar. You're full of shit.

Commercial and military aircraft have short range weather radar.

None of it may be surprising but it certainly should have some evidence before taken seriously

what airline was this if you don't mind answering? often see AA, UA, and DL crews arriving in same van and signing in to hotel together. would suck to work for an airline that doesn't trust their employees.

There is no gate.

I don't even care about the validity of the story but you can't just go there and wander off to where you want. Probably because of litigation reasons or safety. Is what I'm saying.

Let me quote the post you obviously didnt read.
"Something that is biologically immortal can die from disease or accidents, something that is immortal cannot die or be killed period."
