It began with my television at Doubletree resetting to CNN every time it was turned off and on....

So I wondered, why CNN instead of the default guide channel at most hotels? I looked at the company who owns Doubletree, Hilton Hotels. The current Director is: CHRISTOPHER J. NASSETTA, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director.
His bio shows one of his other top-level associations to be with Partners for a New Beginning. Looking up that organization we see:
Also in this page we see:
To support the President's "New Beginning" goals, United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton launched Partners for a New Beginning along with former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Walter Isaacson (President of The Aspen Institute), and Muhtar Kent (Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company) on April 27, 2010.
Yet another brick in the wall of CNN being a closely held arm of the Clintons, even so far as to promoting their "news" network as the default channel in their member's businesses.

Great detective work peeling away another layer of onion that is the fraud that is CNN.

The Marriott chain does this as well. Not sure of any big picture connections there, but I travel for work and reset the default channel in every room I stay in.

Bill Marriot, a devout Republican and member of the church of LDS , relinquished the CEO position of Marriot Hotels to Arne Sorenson, a Democrat who served as COO of Wal-Mart a company with deep ties to (you guessed it) Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I met the original mr marriot on an lds mission in virginia/ beltway area. Seemed a decent fellow. Was buddies with the mission president(who happened to be a real estate tycoon ... This was like 2007/2008) there was a lot of lds hype about mitt romneys run at that time as well.

I've noticed airports pumping CNN too. Maybe it's just me.

Was recently at nebraska fed building for jury duty selection. The jury lounge had i think a large tv at the top of every corner playing cnn... A visible handful of folks thought this was obnoxious and said things like " well, more proof cnn is just deep state propoganda"

Which is probably an entirely normal feature. I use a similar feature designed into the units supplied by my service provider.
And the choice of CNN was probably considered relatively safe when it was made (likely years ago). It's only in the past few years that CNN has gone full retard.

Maybe, though I don't know why your idea about it would be any more or less probable than mine. Sure, it's entirely within the realm of possibility, and I may have just noticed it since CNN has been in the spotlight.
I will add, however, that I travel pretty regularly and stay and different hotels and resorts. In every one of them, the television will default to the guide channel daily, but otherwise within the same day will turn on to whatever channel you had on last.
This is the first time I've ever had a TV at a hotel default to CNN or any news channel for that matter, much less with every on/off cycle of the TV. The closest would be Disney resorts, which will default to the Disney World channel that talks about the parks and stuff.
So in the end, worth discussing at least. Thanks for your input though, some might see it as a dose of calmer rationale.
